Argentiera was a mining centre abandoned in the 60s, which is now being transformed into a tourist centre. Narrow curves, vegetation that announces a nearness of the sea. Argentiera is an agglomerate of old dark wooden buildings – a postcard from old times. There is a big Frana Beach of a half moon shape where the sand is mixed with dust deposited for centuries and coming from the silver mine. A huge artificial dune dominates the landscape and that seems to measure and testify a fatigue of these who never have had an opportunity to really enjoy a marvellous and unique panorama of the sea.
