The bay is very well protected and has numerous jetties and restaurants on shore. Limited provisions are also available as well as fresh fish straight from the fishermen. There is a market here that targets the residents of the large hotel complex. Tourists are attracted by the variety of Ciftlik's accommodation, and by long, sandy beach (Pirlanta Plaj), just outside of town to the southwest. Camping facilities are available to the south, and nearby stretches one of the area's best beaches, the Altinkum Plaj (Golden Beach).
